Stop Pulte Homes’ Trillium Farm
Dear Neighbor,
Hopefully you are already aware of the housing development proposed by Pulte Homes that is planned for a portion of the Planter’s Palette property. We were among several Woods of Cantigny neighbors who attended a West-Win Homeowners Association meeting at the Winfield Public Library on October 22 where representatives from Pulte shared information about the project.
Trillium Farms, as the development has been named, currently calls for 84 single family homes. Importantly, the current plan includes no access point along Roosevelt Road or Garys Mill Road. The only ingress and egress for the development will be two points along Purnell Road.
The current plan includes no access point along Roosevelt Road or Garys Mill Road.
As a neighbor in or near Woods of Cantigny, you may share in our concern about the impact this would have on the already heavily trafficked Purnell Road. 84 homes equates to at least 168 additional vehicles living off of Purnell Road and no doubt accessing this already overutilized two lane road on a daily basis.

Pulte Homes is taking the next step in their effort to build 84 homes with at least 168 cars that will enter and exit the development ONLY on Purnell Road. They have never listened to the residents and answered the question: Why not have the entrance/exit on Roosevelt…
Attendance imperative at Tuesday Board meeting
Plus: Letter below – Please email it to County Commissioners today! After submitting letters upon letters and providing hours of testimony detailing valid concerns to the DuPage County Zoning Board of Appeals, which had the good sense to not approve the Trillium Farm petition, it was shocking for many of us to hear the Development…
